The New England Cemetery Association (NECA) encourages all cemeteries within New England and beyond to become active. Membership in the association entitles one to participation in all aspects of the organization. NECA sponsors several educational events annually. The official newsletter, the New Englander, is published 5 or 6 times each year. Membership also affords access to the many companies and individuals who provide the necessary supplies and services required to operate a cemetery today. Finally and perhaps most importantly, NECA provides an avenue for each member to communicate and network with other individuals from within the cemetery field. 

Members also have access to the association’s "Members Only" area. This exclusive page offers a complete list of members, including suppliers, with detailed contact information. The latest issue of the New Englander is also available.   

Also offered in the Members Only area is a Blog where you can post questions and comments. Other members are then free to suggest answers for your questions and to respond to your comments. This is one more way in which the association can provide problem-solving solutions to their members. 

There are 4 classes of membership available:

• Regular – For cemeteries and individuals from within New England. These members also have memberships with their respective state associations.
• Associate – For cemeteries and individuals from outside of the six New England states.
• Honorary – This membership is bestowed upon an individual who has given selflessly to the association over many years. Click here for Honorary members
• Supplier – Companies and individuals who service the cemetery industry are also invited to join. This membership affords special privileges that are not available to non-members.
